Rainy Day Fun

Yesterday the weather was rainy and bleh, so Jesse and I had some fun playing indoors.  I had the bright (or maybe not-so-bright) idea to make a small "fort" for Jesse to play under.  Unfortunately, he didn't understand what it was for.  As soon as he saw the quilt draped over the space between our couch and coffee table, he thought it would be perfect for launching himself on top of.  Of course, the quilt gave way (it was only being held down by one of his puzzles on the coffee table) and Jesse went tumbling to the ground, followed by some books and the puzzle.  Much to my surprise, he didn't even let out so much as a whimper, but he immediately started giggling.

Then he realized that maybe he could get a little extra attention out of the situation and he began his fake crying.

One of Jesse's latest hobbies is laying down in a pile of blankets (or dirty laundry or whatever).  He doesn't stay still for long, but he likes to snuggle up for a few seconds when he gets the chance.

And some more pictures, just because I think he's pretty cute (I am pretty biased, though).

Proud to be wearing Daddy's shoes:
